STUDENTS
Hello, Students,
My job at HMS is to help you learn English and to help you succeed in your classes. My classroom is Room 103. Please let me know if you need help with any of your classes. (I do not have a scheduled time at HMS yet, but will let you know as soon as one is set.)
These are some things you can do if you are new to the U.S.:
- Read in English everyday.
- Continue to speak and read in your native language.
- Practice spelling common words.
- Use your bilingual dictionary to define words in language arts, reading, science, math, and social studies.
- Ask your teacher to speak slowly and repeat if you do not understand.
- Use Rosetta Stone regularly.
